A Great Sky is Above for September

With the clarity in the sky on the east cost now that Irene and Lee are gone makes the viewing terrific with either binoculars, a small telescope or for the matter the naked eye.  There’s not a lot of motion and when you stay away from some of the light pollution, you’ll get a great view.

Going east to west, Epsilon Lyrae provides a terrific view of the twin stars above the Summer Triangle of Deneb, Vega and Altair.  So enjoy.  Remember that if you are close to any artificial light you’ll be best to consider a RefractiveTelescope rather than Reflective.  Even with naked eye sighting capability, the use of the incorrect lens arrangement in light pollution is a real spoiler.

It’s my intent in about six hours or so, to spend time with Brocchi’s cluster given the continuation of the clarity in the sky.

Happy Looking Tonight,
Pop Optics
